The entire reason for embracing pronouns is to normalize it so it's not a "thing" when it's introduced. It's an incredibly out-of-date take to have from a position of leadership. This is the sort of proclamation you make when you don't even bother to ask your HR/inclusivity team for any details about inclusivity.

The only measurable added time pronouns add to any discussion is a few seconds of conversation. If you add minutes/hours of griping about policy surrounding it, that's on you.
